I am a big fan of Soccer and would like to start a conversation on what FIFA needs to do to counter all negative aspects of the game. Fifa World Cup 2010 one of the worse in record for Referee controversial decisions.
Here is a laundry list:
1) Increase number of referee to 2 (one cover each halves)
2) Embrace limited video technology to resolve controversial moments
3) Have a standard procedure for injured or fake injured players.
4) Change the offside rules
5) Increase the size of goal post
6) The ball to be used in World Cup should debut 2 years in advance.
